1. Service Description

Vocce is a personal AI phone assistant operated by Saadia Publication Inc., Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Vocce makes phone calls on your behalf and answers incoming calls when you are unavailable. The service uses AI to conduct natural conversations, generate transcripts, and deliver post-call summaries via SMS.

2. AI Disclosure

Every call made or received by Vocce begins with an AI disclosure statement: "This is the Vocce AI assistant on a recorded line."

By using Vocce, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All calls handled by Vocce are conducted by an artificial intelligence, not a human.
  • The person on the other end of the call will be informed that they are speaking with an AI assistant.
  • Calls are processed in real time for transcription and summary purposes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Vocce. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vocce to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity, including fraud, impersonation, or deception.
  • Conduct telemarketing, cold sales outreach, or commercial solicitation to recipients who have not given prior express consent under applicable law (TCPA in the US, CASL in Canada, equivalents elsewhere).
  • Conduct debt collection or third-party collections activity automated through AI calling.
  • Conduct political robocalls, surveys, polls, or voter contact campaigns of any kind.
  • Send bulk unsolicited outbound communications to recipients with whom you do not have a prior business or personal relationship.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any person through automated calls.
  • Violate do-not-call registries, anti-spam regulations, or any consent requirements applicable to the call recipient.
  • Attempt to bypass the AI disclosure or misrepresent Vocce as a human caller.
  • Place calls to emergency services (911 / 112 / etc.).
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Vocce platform.

For Campaign features (bulk outbound to a contact list), you must complete the in-app attestation that all contacts have provided prior express consent to receive AI-driven calls from you. False attestation is a material breach of these terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or if your usage pattern poses risk to Vocce's telecom carrier relationships.

5. Subscription and Pricing

Vocce offers a free tier and one auto-renewing monthly subscription plan:

The Free tier provides a one-time lifetime allotment of 5 minutes of outbound calling and does not include an inbound phone number or SMS summaries; this allotment does not reset. Starter ($19.99/month) provides 60 minutes per calendar month covering combined inbound and outbound usage and includes SMS summaries. Only billed time (calls that connect) counts toward the cap; failed and unanswered calls do not. Unused minutes do not roll over. When the cap is reached, additional calls are blocked until the next monthly reset; no overage charges apply.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. In-app subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation must be done through the respective store's subscription management. Refunds are handled according to Apple, Google, or Stripe refund policies as applicable.

6. AI Limitations

Vocce is powered by artificial intelligence and, while designed to be helpful and accurate, has inherent limitations:

  • Vocce may misunderstand speech, especially in noisy environments or with strong accents.
  • Transcripts and summaries may contain inaccuracies.
  • Vocce is not a replacement for human judgment.
  • Do not rely on Vocce for medical, legal, financial, or emergency communications.
  • Language detection is automatic but may occasionally be incorrect.
  • Service availability depends on third-party infrastructure (Google Gemini, Twilio) and may experience downtime.

7. Intellectual Property

The Vocce name, logo, software, and all related materials are owned by Saadia Publication Inc. You receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal or business communications consistent with these terms.

8. Privacy

Vocce's collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saadia Publication Inc. and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of Vocce, including but not limited to: missed calls, miscommunicated information, transcription errors, service interruptions, or losses arising from third-party telecom or AI infrastructure failures. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the most recent billing period.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, or non-payment. On termination, your inbound number is released and your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be brought in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
